Message From the Principal

Dear Frasier Families,
We are excited to welcome you to a brand new school year! Whether you're joining us for the first time or returning for another amazing chapter, we want you to know that you are part of the Frasier family, and we’re so glad you’re here.
At Frasier Middle School, we live by a set of values that guide everything we do. We are proud to say that we put Frasier FIRST.
What does it mean to be FIRST?
It means we lead with:
  • Family – supporting each other like a team
  • Integrity – doing what’s right, even when no one is watching
  • Respect – treating everyone with kindness
  • Safety – making sure everyone feels secure and valued
  • Teamwork – working together to achieve great things
When our students and staff put these values FIRST, we finish FIRST, in the classroom, on the stage, on the field, and in how we represent our families and community.
This year, we are committed to helping every student grow academically, socially, and emotionally. With your support at home and our team’s dedication at school, there is no limit to what our Falcons can achieve.
Let’s make this year one to remember.
Let’s lead with values. Let’s lift each other up.
Let’s put Frasier FIRST, and finish FIRST, together!
We’re so glad you’re on this journey with us.
Let’s soar, Falcons!

Tracy Curtis, Principal

Student Schedules

  • Please have your student write down their schedule and put it in their backpack. It is very important they know their 1st period.
  • All students will be given a paper copy of their most updated schedule during 1st period on the first day of school.
  • Many students requested schedule changes at Schedule Walk Night. Please know that these requests will be considered in order of priority...example student has 2 science classes would be addressed before, student wants to take art.
  • If a change is made, a schedule will be delivered to them.
  • Due to class size issues, some requests will not be able to be honored.

A New Chapter in Student Success: Go Offline, You'll be Fine

In the 89th Texas Legislature Session, state lawmakers passed House Bill 1481, prohibiting students from using personal digital communication devices during the entire school day. Starting August 12th, students will be required to keep these devices stored out of reach in their backpacks or lockers for the entire school day. Students will no longer be able to keep their devices in their pockets. Please click the link to read more about the new law and consequences for violations of the law.

ID Badges

Student will be given ID badges the first day of school. They are required by Mesquite ISD policy to wear their ID badge around their neck and it must be visible. Please make sure your student wears their ID and lanyard to school daily. Students will be provided 1 free ID and lanyard to begin the year. After that, parents are responsible for replacement costs. Thank you for your your help with this added layer of security for our campus.

Computer Device Insurance Fee Deadline Sept 5

Mesquite ISD is a 1:1 technology district, meaning each student is provided a district-issued device.
Our devices facilitate access to digital textbooks, learning management systems, and various web applications, supporting students' growth in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and information literacy.

Annual Device Insurance Fee
This is a single payment for the school year designed to cover the cost of your student's first accidental device damage. We want to make sure you understand how this plan benefits your family by helping to manage potential repair or replacement costs.

Each student receiving a district-issued Chromebook or iPad and charger in grades PK-12 will pay an annual non-refundable device insurance fee of $20 per device. For families with multiple students, the device insurance fee will not exceed $60. If the device insurance fee is not paid by September 5, 2025, or a payment plan is not in place, students will be required to pay the full cost of device repairs and replacement in the event of damage, including for the first incident.

  • Never STOP or unload in the middle lane.
  • Students should only cross the front parking lot at the crosswalk.
  • During pickup, pull forward as the cars in front of you leave to allow more traffic to access the pick up zone.
